To qualify for a free badge, you must work EITHER 2 hours of set-up/teardown or 3 hours during the hours of the convention. These badges will be issued the day of, and all volunteers must check in at the registration table 15 minutes before their shift to receive a temporary badge and job assignments. If you have a later shift, please inform the staff at registration so you may receive your complimentary badge early and enjoy the rest of the convention. Please let us know if you cannot attend your shift as soon as possible so we can properly cover it.
Set-up and tear-down may require more physical activity, such as carrying or lifting approximately 20-30 pounds.
Volunteers during the convention will involve a combination of sitting, standing, and roaming around the convention grounds to ensure policies are being enforced
